Face-to-face before bauma
Speed dating with journalists in the run-up to the world's largest trade show: With our customer BHS-Sonthofen, we participated in the bauma "Media Dialog" at the International Congress Center Munich (ICM) at the end of January. bauma is the heartbeat of the construction industry, specifically the "world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles and construction equipment" and is regarded as the largest trade fair on earth in terms of area. Organized by Messe München, it takes place every three years on the former site of Riem Airport (the older ones remember) - the Munich Exhibition Grounds.
And we Commhas certainly do not lack trade fair experience. Most of the time media work at trade fairs means many exciting contacts during the event itself. What is different is an additional "media dialogue" three months before bauma. The format offers an excellent platform for exchange with specialist editorial offices. In two large halls the exhibitors presented themselves at tables and gave journalists the opportunity to talk about the exhibits at the fair, applications, general industry trends or other novelties. Together with our customer, we were able to focus on the various interests of numerous media representatives undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of the fair and serve them in a targeted manner. A format that is fun - and that we would also like to see at other trade fairs.
