Commha helps Kistler to turn stress into interest

The sensor technology expert, Kistler, relies on a seemingly simple business idea: create stress, generate charge, and convert it into voltage. It has made the company the world’s market leader in dynamic measurement technology. To put things more technically: Piezoelectric materials used in sensor components generate electrical charges on the outer surfaces when subjected to mechanical stress. Conveniently, charge and physical stress are directly proportional to each other. So if you measure the voltage, you can draw exact conclusions about the level of its cause, be it force, pressure or torque.

We have been supporting Kistler since early 2019 to tell their story, to illustrate the numerous applications of their products that make modern life more sustainable, more comfortable and safer. High-precision sensors from Kistler can be found, for example, in engine development to measure the pressure of cylinder heads; on motorways to determine the weight of moving trucks; or in injection molding production to check cavity pressure. Their software solutions finally help to evaluate the sensor data.

External communication for all formats

Commha supports Kistler in internal matters as well as in international media relations. We create content for a wide range of formats. They include success stories for trade magazines, in-depth articles for scientific readers, and casual social media post. The key is to strike the right note for each target group, of course, and to be technically sound. So if Kistler creates senor technology, we turn it into stories and generate interest. Easy.
