A graduate in English linguistics, Barbara combines communications expertise with systemic organizational development to advise companies in times of change. Prior to joining Commha Consulting, she was a press officer at Oxford University, where she helped shape external communication for over a decade, from science communication to university policy. At Commha Consulting, her focus is on external communication, team development and change processes. She is a speaker at conferences, presents seminars and publishes in trade journals. She holds certifications both as a PR consultant (DAPR) and in systemic organizational development (Systemic Society Germany).

Got enchanted by being a consultant and found her accumulated talents well received there. Since then entrusted with campaigns, concepts, videos and workshops. Outside of work, she blogs about DIY and crafts, is an enthusiastic Indiana Jones fan and finds it hard to resist sweets.

After having worked as a freelance journalist she took a job at the university for three years. People and their very own stories inspire her. The studied ethnologist and sociologist worked as an editor for various daily newspaper publishers in the south of Germany in her early professional years. Diversity of topics is and always has been important to her in a professional context. Her pronounced curiosity drives her again and again to learn new things and to pass on her knowledge and experience. In doing so, the power of communication, which shapes human relationships, is especially close to her heart. Privately, she is rooted in the Palatinate region.
